Step Up
Tyler is a male who finally decides after so many years of fighting for what he wanted in life, knows what he wants and is determined to get it. Nora is a female who is use to getting what she wants and usually works hard for what she wants and she is an amazing dancer. When Tyler comes along and her partner sprains his foot and he can no longer be her partner she has to find a partner fast and in a short amount of time. This is where Tyler comes into the picture. But the conflict that I am going to talk about is when Nora and Tyler get into an arguement and Tyler quits on Nora and she has to do the play all by herself. This conflict was resolved at the end of the movie by Tyler coming back to Nora and showing up right before she is going to go on stage to perform. He basically tells her that he is fighting for something that he actually wants for the first time in his life and that he was extremely sorry for bailing on her when she needed him the most. He also tells her that he is realizing what is important to him the most and that is his future and his schooling. There was no violence used in this conflict but there was violence used in another conflict; which was when Skinny, Tyler's friend's brother, stole PJ's truck to look cool and ended up paying dearly for his actions. The charcters that were mostly portrayed in using violence was people that was so used to seeing their problems and situations being solved by this way of manner, and who was brought up this way by either their parentsor whoever had raised them.
